Here's a good shot of
the manning station. The little TV is the camera feed--working off a 4 channel
2.4 GHz transmitter, then Greg's trying getting the primary controls working
that feeds out the actual
controls to the blimp. The satellite dish is for the microwave camera feed.
Greg's code takes in a playstation like USB
Controller and feeds that data to an Atmel board and the Atmel converts
the data to a 4 channel pulse-width modulation
signal feeding to a model aircraft radio transmitter. And that controls
the elevation tilt, two rear motors, camera rotation,
and an emergency drop string.
